My Portfolio

Welcome!

Here you can find six projects I have completed while being an undergrad student at the University of Oregon that I am particularly proud of. Click on each picture to learn more.

This project was part of my JCOM 470: Strategic Communication Research Methods course. In collaboration with my team, we conducted two focus groups to explore strategies for increasing attendance at University of Oregon women’s sporting events. By analyzing participant insights, we developed actionable recommendations for boosting college student attendance at these games, providing valuable feedback to support the growth and visibility of UO women’s sports programs.

This project was part of my JCOM 470: Strategic Communication Research Methods course. As a team, we distributed a survey to over 300 college students to explore the factors influencing their attendance—or lack thereof—at women’s sporting events. By analyzing the responses, we developed strategic recommendations to help the University of Oregon’s women’s sports teams increase college student attendance and engagement at their games.

This project was completed for my JCOM 372: Writing for Influence class. The assignment involved crafting a professional news release announcing an award being presented to University of Oregon President Karl Scholz, showcasing effective communication and public relations skills.
